Data Privacy Management System (DPMS) ( 2 of 3 )

4.
You will get many requests - to special privacy issues - from internal and external persons. To have these requests and your answers always available you can use the following opus i objects to document these things:
internal request, activity, planning, annual report and the special knowledge proof.

5.
How does opus i support you?

opus i contains functions which help you to manage the project and the time you have available.

6.
You can extract information from the database with several functions.

continue

6.1 A comfortable search function enables you to find all the information you seek.

5.1 Resubmission. In a management system the system’s elements have to be always current. If there are more than 50 system elements it is possible that elements or processes are overlooked. In opus i you have an automatically monitored resubmission function. Even if opus i isn’t started the resubmission can be monitored (via a batch job).

4.1 If you use these opus i functions a short report can be created. The report shows the essential information and also the time needed and the monetary expenditure. The report can be printed directly into a document for further use.

6.2 For professional users a self-programming-interface exists. You can develop and run your own smallprogram.

5.2 The next most common problem within the management system is the incomplete documentation. You know you don’t have the time to schedule all the system elements regarding the completeness. Opus i also supports you here. The function “Check all objects complete documentation” shows all incompletely documented objects - and the section of the incompleteness. In addition it is possible to set these elements to resubmission to the responsible person.

6.3 There are two databases delivered with opus i. You may want to install the opus i SQL-Database to retrieve information via SQL.

6.4 If you have internal targets regarding databases, these databases are also connectable (additional module with charge): MySQL, SQL-Server or ORACLE. Image: SQL-Server

5.3 Equally frequent is the problem of not current documentations and documents. This happens particularly when your management system “goes” in the second or third year. Do you have the time to check all the system elements for currentness? The function “Check all objects up-to-date” shows all not current documented objects. In addition it is possible to set these elements to resubmission to the responsible person.

6.5 Last but not least: there is a report generator within opus i, called “Report & Queries”.

5.4 Because you are the responsible person you have to report the progress of the project to the management. It is very useful if you can show - promptly - who is obstructing the projects progress. All reports (see above) are exportable to Excel as a work base for your meetings and other discussions.

opus i All table contents can be directly send to Excel

5.5 Archiving. To document the project states at specific dates (before the last audit; at the turn of the year;...) it is possible to build archives. These archives can temporarily be restored anytime.

The archive is restored. It is easily identifiable by the grayed lists. The access rights are overall: read!
