No, we raise a protective charge of 30 Euro (complete, with taxes) for the test version.
Are there restrictions in the test versions of opus i?
Yes, there are.
From the first start, the test version runs 28 days or 30 starts.
The print functions are disabled.
The created ISMS contains only every third control.
The test version is delivered only with 5 threat documents and 5 control documents.
Do you offer a maintenance agreement for opus i and what are the fundamental contents of this agreement?
Yes, we offer a maintenance agreement. You have immediate E-Mail-Support and software updates and upgrades. The price of the maintenance agreement is 16 % of the selling costs per year.
Whats are the supported languages?
Today opus i supports German and English.
The Threat and the Control descriptions are (and remain) in German and English.
Which other languages will be supported in the future?
Any language can be supported. The next implemented language will be determined by demand.
Is it possible to run opus i simultaneously in different languages?
Yes, every user can run opus i in his own language (if available).
What are the requirements to run opus i?
The requirements to run opus i and opusiSporEXE are:
- on the client: a Windows operating system (2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7) and a screen resolution of at least 1280 x 1024 px.
- on the server: a Windows server or Linux operating system.
- To run opusiSporWEB you need:
- on the clients: a screen resolution of at least 1280 x 1024 px, Internet Explorer (from Version 6).
- at the server: Internet Information Services (IIS).
- Internet access with a transfer rate of at least 768 kbit/s.
Is it possible to see the threat and control documents that are delivered with opus i?
No, this is not possible due to copyrights and licence agreements. In the test version there are five threat documents and five control documents available. To get a first impression about the threats and controls, we provided a download with some documents. For further information see here.
Is it possible to see the roles that are delivered with opus i?
No, this is not possible due to copyrights and licence agreements. In the test version all roles are available.

Is it possible to develop a complete ISMS with the test version?
No, not really. The creation of the process tree is possible. Of all assigned controls only every third control is shown.
Who developed the more than 1200 controls and 450 threat documents?
The threats and controls are developed from companies with specialized knowledge. These developing companies were commissioned by the German Government Agency for Information Security (External: BSI). For further information see here.

Yes, it is. opus i is an “open” management system. You can adjust more than privacy stipulations.
