Information Security Management

opus i Information Mananagement is today based on the German Standard for Information Security. This is a pre-built modular system follows exactly the ISO 27001 standard - but with described controls and is easy to implement.
   If you have to set up a native ISO 27001 based system please come back in September 2010 - by then the opus i module “ISO 27001 native” is realized.
   Check if it could be possible to base your ISMS on the German Standard. As I said above: this Standard follows exactly the ISO 27001 but contrary to the ISO Standard within the German Standard all threats and controls are completely described. There are more than 450 described threats and more than 1200 fully described controls. Certification is possible.

National/international realisation

If your organisation is settled down on several locations - national or worldwide - you have to install a software that enables you to hold the data of the management system centrally in the headquarter.
   opus i contains the web client “opusiSporWEB” exactly for this purpose.
   With this web client the “satellites” enter and maintain their own data. The main application opus i enables you to implement and supervise these data.

Data Privacy Management

opus i Data Privacy Management allows you to set up the data privacy management system that follows your own rules or the standard you have to follow.
   If you have no own requirements or standard to follow you can base your management system on the German Data Privacy Act - which enables you to create a very good management system.
